His Holiness will confer the 1000-Armed Avalokiteshvara Initiation (chenresig wang) and also teach on Tsongkhapa's In Praise of Dependent Origination (tendrel toepa) in the mornings for Tibetan Youth at the Main Tibetan Temple.

June 13 - 14, 2022

On the occasion of Buddha Shakyamuni's Birth, Enlightenment and Parinirvana Day (sa-dhe duechen), His Holiness will give a two-day teaching on Tsongkhapa's Concise Stages for the Path to Enlightenment (lamrim dudon) and confer the Avalokiteshvara Jinasagara Initiation (chenrezig gyalwa gyatso wang) in the mornings at the Main Tibetan Temple (tsuglhakhang). June 13 will be the Preliminary Initiation and June 14 will be the Actual Initiation.

Teaching in Dharamsala, HP, India

July 8 - 10, 2022

His Holiness will confer the Heruka Initiation of the Luipa Tradition (dechok luipa wang) at the request of Gyudmey and Gyuto Tantric Colleges in Dharamsala at the Main Tibetan Temple (tsuglhakhang). On July 8 morning the Preliminary Initiation will take place and on July 9 morning the Actual Initiation will take place. On July 10 morning, a long life prayer will be offered by Gyudmey and Gyuto Tantric Colleges. Please note that people attending the initiation are required to do the daily practice of the Six-Session Guru Yoga which is compulsory for Highest Yoga Tantra empowerments. They also need to do the daily practice of the Luipa Chakrasamvara Sadhana (luipe dechok dakye) or at least the Triple Purification Practice (dakpa sum kyi nyeljor) of Chakrasamvara.

July 28 - 30, 2022

His Holiness the Dalai Lama will give 3 days of teaching on the mornings of July 28, 29 & 30 at Shewatsel Teaching Ground near Choglamsar at the request of the Ladakh Buddhist Association and the Ladakh Gonpa Association. On July 28 & 29 morning, His Holiness will give teachings on Chapter 9 of Shantideva's A Guide to the Bodhisattva's Way of Life (chodjug). On July 30 morning His Holiness will confer the Avalokiteshvara Initiation (chenresig wang) followed by a short long life prayer to His Holiness offered by the Ladakh Buddhist Association and the Ladakh Gonpa Association.
