Narita, Japan, 8 May 2016 - After a comfortable flight from Delhi, His Holiness the Dalai Lama arrived at Narita International Airport around lunchtime today. He was received at the door of the plane by a representative from the Indian Embassy in Tokyo and Japanese officials. Tibetan Representative Lungtok was on hand to welcome him once he had passed through immigration procedures. As he stepped out into the arrival hall His Holiness laughed to see several old Japanese friends who exuberantly greeted him.
