Leh, J&K, India, August 7, 2013 - In a letter written to President George W. Bush, His Holiness the Dalai Lama expressed happiness and relief with the successful heart surgery the former U.S. President underwent after his doctors found an artery blockage. His Holiness wished him a swift and complete recovery.
His Holiness wrote the letter from Leh, Ladakh where he is on a three-week visit during which he is also undertaking a meditation retreat.
