His Holiness the Dalai Lama Arrives in Vilnius, Lithuania

Vilnius, Lithuania, 11 September 2013 - During a restful morning in Riga, His Holiness met with several old friends.

After lunch he took a short flight from Riga to Vilnius, Lithuania. He was welcomed at the airport by Vytis Vidunas, Indology lecturer at Vilnius University Centre of Oriental Studies, and then drove to his hotel where a group of old friends and well-wishers had gathered to greet him.

Tomorrow, after meetings in the morning, he has been invited to speak on "Social, Ecological and Moral Challenges in the Modern World" at Vilnius City Hall.
